Chevron Puff Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

11/14/2021

You know how much I LOVE textured crochet stitches and I just can't help but to use texture in all of my recent designs.  This Chevron Puff Blanket crochet pattern is no different.  However, sometimes it's nice to have a simple repeat of a pattern that you can crochet mindlessly while watching your favorite show.  This pattern has just the right touch of texture to make it more than just a simple chevron but enough to catch the eye.
This blanket is for my cute little nephew Johnny (name after my dad).  He loves the color blue and enjoys being at Grandpa John's farm so I wanted a rustic look for for his blanket.  I chose to make it a larger size for him to be able to use for years to come.  The good news is that you can easily make this in any size you prefer!

Another GREAT detail about this blanket is that while you have the chevron pattern, the borders are completely straight. I really like the up and down of the chevron but sometimes it's nice to have straight edges to give a cleaner look to your decor.

    Kate Wagstaff

Hey there!  Thank you for joining my blog here at Crafting Friends Designs. Grab your hook, some yarn and get comfy as we crochet some fun, unique and beautiful projects together.
I'm Kate and crochet is my passion.  I've been crocheting for 30+ years and as you can see from the selection of designs on my site, blankets are my obsession.  I absolutely love creating something that will wrap my love around friends and family when they're in need of comfort.
Having 4 beautiful girls of my own has also inspired many infant, toddler and child size dresses.  They are my biggest cheerleaders and have enjoyed wearing the things I've made them.

If you love what you see, please leave a comment and let me know!
