December's new crochet pattern releases

The new Pebbled Archway Reversible home decor crochet pattern collection has quickly become another one of my favorites.  I love the feeling you get when you walk in a room and see a comforting afghan placed across a couch.  It's even more wonderful with coordinating pillows!  What could make it even better?  How about all of the pieces being reversible?

Each week through the month of December, I'm releasing 1 crochet pattern from this set. The Pebbled Archway  Reversible Bolster Pillow crochet pattern was released last week and can be found HERE on my website.  This week, is the Pebbled Archway Reversible Throw crochet pattern.  This is such a great way to add a splash of color to any room!  I hope you'll enjoy laying with color and working up this collection as much as I did.

Blanket Supplies and notes:

If you enjoy pops of color or peek-a-boo arches, you’ll have fun with this Pebbled Archway Reversible Throw crochet pattern. 
This blanket has a fun pattern on both sides to play up the color and give some unique style to any room. Be sure to check out the coordinating pillows!

Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials: 3098 (total yards) Red Heart With Love 4ww yarn or similar 
878 yards Black 
740 yards Pewter 
740 yards White 
740 yards Berry Red

Finished Size: 48” x 60” with instruction to easily customize to your desired size from infant to king!

Hook: H/8-5.00 mm

Gauge: 14 sc & 17 rows = 4”

Terminology: US crochet terms

Stitches/Abbreviations: 
st(s) - stitch(es), sl st - slip stitch, ch - chain, yo - yarn over, sc - single crochet, hdc - half double crochet, dc - double crochet, tr - treble crochet, TTCL - Triple Treble Cluster

Special Stitches: 
Foundation hdc: If you’re unfamiliar with how to work foundation chains, this photo tutorial may help

Triple Treble Cluster (TTCL): Working in front of stitches in previous rounds, yo 4x, insert hook in 
indicated stitch, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook4x, yo 4x, insert hook in same 
stitch, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook4x, repeat from to 2x, yo, pull through 
all 5 loops on hook

Notes:

1. This pattern uses standing stitches instead of turning chains. If you prefer to use a turning chain, chain 1 and turn for all rows starting with a sc, chain 2 and turn for all rows starting with hdc, chain 3 and turn for all rows starting with a dc
2. When changing colors, do so in the last step of the last stitch of the row before the color change
3. Color sections are worked in counts of 6 rows to allow you to carry yarn up the edge of the throw instead of fastening off each color
