Thankful for Color

The colors of the rainbow, the colors of flowers, the colors of trees through summer and fall.  Oh how they all just amaze me.  They all have their place and they all bring different feelings to mind.  Do you have a favorite?

My favorite color is purple.  Not just any shade of purple though.  I love the deep rich comforting color that just makes me think "LOVE".  It's also my birthstone so that may be why I'm attached to it.  It is also the reason I chose the "A Round the Flower Garden Afghan" to be my pattern for today.
When it comes to color in my crochet designs, I typically design with someone specific in mind and try to use colors that I know they'll enjoy.  
THAT is what I love about crochet!  I can wip up a pattern in my favorite color and YOU can wip up the same pattern in your favorite color and it just works perfectly.  Thank heavens we don't all have to use only blue!!!
