I started with the center panel to work the beautiful texture and diamond shape the cables create from bottom to top. The one thing that I knew for sure was that it needed to be completed as 1 and not pieced together. I despise stitching things together so I avoid that option if at all possible. The next 2 panels are worked directly to the sides of the 1st panel. It was so nice to tie off that last row of work and be done! This would be a fun blanket to work in rainbow colors or work 2 different colors on the sides to create a "His & Hers" side to snuggle up together. That's the great thing about crochet! The color options are endless. Here's what you need to know for this pattern: Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced Terms: US Crochet Terminology Materials: 4 stitch markers, 4260 total yards 4ww yarn such as Premier Basix, Red Heart Super Saver, Vanna’s Choice etc. (Cream: 3,400 yards & Denim: 860 yards) Finished Size: 60" L x 46” W Hook: J/10-5.75mm Gauge: 13 sc & 17 rows =4" Stitches/Abbreviations: st(s) - stitch(es), sl st - slip stitch, ch - chain, yo - yarn over, sc - single crochet, hdc - half double crochet, dc - double crochet, tr - treble crochet Special Stitches/Abbreviations are given within the pattern.
