The Brick Stitch Afghan is one of my favorite stitch patterns to use.  It's so fast to work up and I've made a LOT of blankets with it.  It can be made in any size using about any yarn you would like and have great results.  This is NOT a corner to corner afghan though the stitch is used quite often for that.  It is worked side to side.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
