Materials: (572, 674, 773, 893) Caron Simply Soft or similar 4ww yarn  

26.5 yards for flower

(3) 1” Buttons

Needle & Matching thread

3’ Ribbon ¼” - ½” wide

Hook: Size I  5.25mm                                                                        

Gauge: 14 hdc & 12 rows = 4”                           

Finished Size:  2T (3T, 4T, 5T)

½ Shell: (2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc) in same stitch


Shell: (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in same stitch


Reverse sc: Working from left to right, insert hook from front to back in next st to the right, yo, pull and pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook

  1. Beginning ch-2 is not counted or used as a stitch unless otherwise noted
  2. Beginning ch-4 is used as a Button hole

  4. Shells & ½ Shells will always line up center with each  other
