Secret Garden Blanket Crochet Pattern
Can you believe that we're already working the border of the Secret Garden Blanket CAL?  I love that we've been able to work a full sized blanket at a manageable pace and accomplish so many fun stitch sections!

Rounds 56-63 are the full border instructions.  This border completely compliments the blanket and makes it stand out beautifully rather than just using a basic square border stitch.

When I designed the Sunny Day Blanket, I knew I wanted a fun border to really make the blanket stand out.  As I searched through stitch patterns, I debated on using the border we're working now or the border that I ended up choosing for that blanket.  They are so similar yet worked differently.  I think one of the things that made me choose the border I did for the Sunny Day Blanket was that it didn't have as many Picots.

Prepare yourself!  The border we're working this week has a LOT of Picots!!!  However, They really do make the border for this blanket and the final result is stunning so hang in there!

Hey there!  Thank you for joining my blog here at Crafting Friends Designs. Grab your hook, some yarn and get comfy as we crochet some fun, unique and beautiful projects together.
I'm Kate and crochet is my passion.  I've been crocheting for 30+ years and as you can see from the selection of designs on my site, blankets are my obsession.  I absolutely love creating something that will wrap my love around friends and family when they're in need of comfort.
Having 4 beautiful girls of my own has also inspired many infant, toddler and child size dresses.  They are my biggest cheerleaders and have enjoyed wearing the things I've made them.
