Enchanted Garden Blanket CAL Section 7 Free Crochet Pattern

Hello and welcome back to the Enchanted Garden Blanket crochet tutorial.  Are you ready to learn a different crochet stitch combination?  
This week we'll be working some little flower buds to add a pop of texture to our blanket.  It's a stitch combination that I used in the Cabled Blooms Blanket and found I loved it enough to want to use it again. 
This section may take a little longer than previous sections as there are a few more rounds and a little more detailed stitches.  I promise though, it's worth it!

Here's what you'll need to crochet section 7:  
(644 total yards of yarn)
87 yards white yarn for the first 2 rounds
44 yards pink yarn for the flower section
113 yards white yarn for the next 2 rounds


Stitch Abbreviations: 
       st(s) – stitch(es)         
       ch – chain 
       sl st – slip stitch 
       yo - yarn over
       sc - single crochet
       hdc – half double crochet
       dc – double crochet
       tr - treble crochet

Special Stitches:

fptr - Front Post treble crochet: Yo 2x, insert hook from front to back to front around indicated st, yo, pull up a loop, (yo, pull through 2 loops on hook)3x

dtr - double treble: Yo 3x, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a loop, (yo, pull through 2 loops on hook)4x

trtr - triple treble crochet: Yo 4x, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a loop, (yo, pull through 2 loops on hook)5x
Popcorn St: 5 dc in indicated st, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back in loop of previous st (stitch before the 5 dc), pick up dropped loop on hook and draw through stitch, lengthen loop long enough to work in on the next round

Notes: 

1. Place stitch markers around corner stitches as noted throughout to help keep track of corners
   
2. This blanket will need to be blocked
   
3. Instructions with *to* are to be worked once and then repeated the number of times indicated
   
4. Instructions with [..] are only worked the number of times indicated to the right of the bracket

Round 50: With wrong side facing, attach yarn with a sl st to the first stitch to the left of any corner chain, ch 1, *hdc in each st across to next corner (103), chain 8, skip corner ch-7,* repeat from *to* 3x, sl st to beginning hdc to connect 

Round 51: Ch 1, turn, *trtr around ch-3 six rounds below, dtr around ch-4 five rounds below, tr around ch-5 four rounds below, dc around ch-6 three rounds below, hdc around ch-7 two rounds below, (sc, ch 3, sc) around ch-8 of previous round, hdc in each st across to next corner (103),* repeat from *to* 3x, sl st to top of beginning trtr to connect, fasten off
