Give the gift of love through time and talent this year!
Valentines Day is quickly approaching and and I have a fun idea for you.
Wouldn't it be great to give your loved ones a super sweet gift this year that will last? What if we crocheted something that they could keep longer than candy and flowers (hey, and they won't complain about to many sweets = weight gain and dentist trips). You know you have yarn in your stash to use up! You know you're going to be picking up that hook soon if it's not already in your hand. So why not let Valentines day mean more than just 1 day of "I Love You's"? Why not let that thought carry one for a while with your crochet work? I've pulled together some fun Valentines crochet patterns for you to enjoy and hopefully friends and family will too. ![]()

Thankful for HolidaysIf you're new to the 10 Days of Thanksgiving Event, here's a quick recap. Each day during this event, 3 crochet designers and I will post something we're thankful for along with a pattern priced at $1 for 24 hours. Check back each day for a new code and new pattern deals! Do you enjoy holidays? There are some that I love and some that I'm not a big fan. I really enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas because it means family time which is the most important part of my life. Halloween on the other hand, not my favorite. It's never been my favorite. I'm not big in dressing up and it's become so much more gory from when I was young. I just don't like the feeling it gives. My girls have fun dressing up but they're not big on the scary side of it either. Valentines is another holiday that I struggled with for a long time. When you're single and see so many people caring about their significant other, it seems to make lonely even lonelier. Sure, I was happy for those who were in love and appreciated. It was just hard. As I've grown older though, I like to do something for my girls to make them feel loved. I love flowers and they're nice to receive now and then but the prices during this holiday are silly. Send me a single flower sometime during the year just because and it would mean more to me. I do however love babies! I love celebrating them and seeing beautiful photos of them which is why I created the "With All My Heart Photo Prop". With All My Heart Photo Prop crochet patternThis pattern is such a great option for photography props! You could also leave the Love Knot stitch off and use it as a blanket or rug. The crochet pattern includes instructions for the large and small hearts. Making 2 hearts and stitching them together would create a fun pillow too! Think outside the box and have fun with this one.
