Have you ever worked a bunch of post stitches in a crochet pattern and not been thrilled with the gap that the post stitch leaves on the back side of the work? For quite a few years now, I've been working stitches together when I use post stitches to hide those gaps. It just makes for a cleaner finished project and I like the solid effect that it gives. I know cable work can be confusing to some when you first start out crocheting. A lot of times though, it just comes down to how well you can read and understand patterns. The cables worked in this Cabled Wheel Blanket pattern are pretty basic yet stunning when draped across the bed or a chair. To help you out, I've created a few quick videos that will show how I hide those gaps and the stitch placement of the post stitches. I hope this will give you the confidence you want to work some amazing crochet magic! **This post contains affiliate links for which I may receive a small commission for products purchased at no cost to you** FPdcSCtog crochet stitchCrossing Post StitchesStarting the next DiamondIf you're ready to try working your own beautiful blanket with cables and wheels, you can grab your Cabled Wheel Blanket crochet pattern HERE: Crochet pattern for the Cabled Wheels Throw This beautiful blanket is full of texture and eye catching stitches for you to crochet in your choice of colors. The center panel is worked first and the side panels are crocheted right to the center so there's not really any "piecing" together. A special technique is used for the post stitches giving the back of the blanket a solid fabric instead of the holes that post stitches tend to leave. This crochet pattern is considered Intermediate due to the use of the post stitches though written directions are given for special stitches and I do have videos to help if needed.
