Can you believe we're working the final section before the boarder of the Secret Garden Blanket? I have had so much fun working this blanket for a 3rd time in different colors! My only regret is that I was so busy with work and life with kids that I wasn't able to sit down and weave in my ends as I wanted. Sadly for me, this means that I have a bunch of ends to take care of when we're done. Ugh, the thought! Weaving in ends is my least favorite part of changing colors but I'll be so happy when it's complete. I promise, this one is NOT going to end up in a WIP pile. So, here's your challenge...If you're like me and haven't sewn your ends in yet, get it done ASAP so it doesn't haunt you lol. We are working rounds 42-45 of the Secret Garden Blanket crochet pattern this week. It seems like it would be a small section of the CAL with just 4 rounds but we're working some taller stitches to give this a fun X stitch across the blanket. We'll be working "In Front of" and "Behind" stitches so be sure to watch the written instructions so your pattern shows through properly. The Secret Garden Blanket isn't so secret anymore! It is so amazing to me to see so many of you crocheting this blanket along side me!!! I absolutely love it and it warms my heart to know how much you're enjoying this crochet project. I hope this one will be a "Go-To" in your library of patterns that you choose to make for family and friends. I have to admit that I'm enjoying working on my 3rd blanket in these new colors. It's always fun to see how it all pulls together in the end. For this section, we'll be working the "overlay" stitches to add a little zig and a zag to our project. The bobbles will add a fun "Pop" of texture and the corners, well, I just thought it was a great idea to use up some of that corner space.

Are you ready for another quick and easy section of the Secret Garden Blanket Crochet A Long? This week, we're working rounds 32-36, which is the small white section above the fan section. We'll start by working 1 more round of the puffs while also working on the fans to secure them to the blanket. It's a great opportunity to catch up if you're a little behind or if you're just swamped with life this week! This is also a section where you'll want to be strategic with your color choice. Our next section will work the long overlaying stitches so you'll want 2 colors that will work well together and your color for this section should be one that will make the next section stand out well.
