Have you ever had a moment when you look at a crochet stitch and an image of something just sticks in your head? That's what happened to me when I was searching for a fun new stitch to work into a blanket with this one. This Christmas Angel Blanket crochet pattern is one that I designed 3 years ago. I have been so busy with work and raising kids, gardening, canning and all the other fun stuff that I just haven't had time to get it out there during the holiday season. Usually, crochet stitches just look fun or present a challenge for me to work into something unique. This one however... just seemed special. The stitch itself in the book wasn't amazing and didn't "Pop" out because it was either worked all in one color or was in one of my books that was black and white. As I began playing around with the stitch combo though, I was impressed that angels were watching over my work. It stuck out more as I worked the simple 2 row repeat in a different color so that it would be focused a little better. It's one of those things that I just can't "unsee" it now. Thus, the reason it's called the Christmas Angel Blanket. With all the absolutely crazy things going on in this world at the moment, I hope that many others will be able to crochet this blanket and add a bit of peace to your homes throughout the upcoming Christmas season. Let me know what you think. I would love to hear if you've had a similar connection with your crochet! Let the Yuletide spirit be with you with our enchanting Christmas Angel Blanket crochet pattern!
